The Cat’s Pyjamas was created in 2000 to provoke an honest debate about the potential and limits of the social enterprise business model. We want to engage with those in private, public and voluntary sectors who are as intrigued and passionate as we are about finding business solutions to our communities problems.

We want our events and this site to provoke and inspire. You won’t agree with everything we say or do about social enterprise. That’s not the point. Our purpose is to ensure that the debate about social enterprise is open, honest, challenging and productive.
